For some reason I think this scene is very underrated and people don’t realise how beautiful it was. I not only adored how they were conversing in such a sweet way, however they were also content with being in each other’s presence. Blair tells him she really appreciates him stepping up for her tonight and how their day reminded her of the old times. The times when they were partners in crime, and how they both bonded over this mutual love of scheming. When they hug you can see how much they have missed each other over these past few months and have enjoyed the time they’ve spent with each other lately. What can I say about the kiss? BEAUTIFUL the way they mirror each other, and how it’s slow and shows just how much they are embraced by the others love. I adore the part when he carries her up the stairs not just as it’s a sweet moment though the wedding foreshadowing it holds. One day we’ll see that gesture being done again but this time they’ll be Mr and Mrs Bass.
